FIXED: Problem with spotter on Intel Based Mac.
Submitted by instantcook on June 12, 2006 - 12:01.
Hello Aldo,
i just upgrade to a new macbookpro
and I get a problem with spotter
i know that Shockwave isn't still in UE, and i suppose that maybe spotter will not run properly until we get an UE version of shockawe.
Am I right ?
but i'm not sure, because when i try to load the same jpg (500kb) in the standalone viewer, no problem.
???
I'm in version 10.1r11
Thanks you and great job with Vtour
(i get one from RealViz for Partnership with them... Just trying it for the moment, but the example are good).

Thanks for the report
Unfortunately, I don't have an intel based mac (yet), so I can't reproduce this. Good to know the standalone version works though.
Could you describe what's not working? Does the application launch at all?
description
Hi aldo
the apllication launch well,
it seems to load the data (your cubic jpg)
it displays the windows with "Free unlicensed version..." but the background stays white.
No image.
and a few second later the white cross in the center of the window become red and seems to come over the window "Free unlicensed version..."
And when i click on it, no dismiss.
I think it isn't very helpfull but maybe...
Bye. Eric.

it is helpfull
Believe it or not, it is helpfull. Not helpfull in a way that I'll be easily able to fix this without spending some time on an Intel Mac, but I think I'll have my chances early august.
Re: ACTIVE: Problem with spotter on Intel Based Mac.
Marking this issue fixed, because I can not reproduce it with Spotter 1.1. May have been related to this issue.
