CD, licence and XML file

Hello,

Since I now know how to use SPI V in a director project, I got some question about the distribution of my project.

The projet is a CDROM which will be duplicate about 100 ex. In this CDROM I will have many SPI-V pano, with interactivity ...

So :
1/ I think the most appropriate licence is the "file" model ? or have you other proposition for CD distribution ?

2/ May I licence each Pano ? May I group all my pano in one XML, with multiple scene and pay only one licence ?

3/ Is there a way to replace the XML file by a Director text member that contains the XML ? (I'd like to not let the xml file accessible) (but i don't see how to replace the openurl)

Thanks,
Olivier

file licenses

The number of copies you make of a CD does not affect the file license. With a file license, you 'bless' an XML file to be displayed without fieldOfView branding.

You can make minor changes to the XML file after 'blessing' it, such as changing the filename of an image in a layer; this way, you can use a single file license for lots of panoramas, as long as the XML structure is not changed (ie: you do not add or remove xml nodes, and you do not change node ids).

Currently, loading an XML file from a castmember is not supported, but I'll add it to the next version.
