Hi Aldo,
First of all, you do a great job by providing us SPi-V !
I'm a VTOUR (R.I.P ;-) ) and SPI-V3d user. I know SPI-V3d is actually an orphan technology but i'd like to expose a possible problem with the last Shockwave version (11) :
if you test this 3D sequence with Shockwave 10 and 11 you should see a change in the way of texturing the 3d models…
For the test, i've used a Mac G4 with MacOS 10.4.11 and different web navigators (safari 3.1.2, Firefox 3.0.1, Opera 9.27)

I am caugth up in other projects right now. I have been considering opensourcing the SPi-V 3d extension, but even that takes time. If you are not a seasoned Director, there's little you could currently do with the source.
